A Story of Faith, Impact, and Sustainability

The Experimental Farm of Restoring Hope Africa is a living testimony of what God can do when faith, obedience, and partnership meet.

Built on two core pillars—Economic Empowerment and Education—this two-hectare Blueprint Irrigation Farm was established to address food insecurity, malnutrition, and dependency on rainfed farming. It serves as both a training model for smallholder farmers and a key part of Restoring Hope Africa’s long-term sustainability.

Every step of this project required faith. God provided land, water through a borehole, a solar-powered irrigation system, essential infrastructure, and the successful import of micro-irrigation equipment and fencing. Through the prayers and generosity of partners, what once seemed impossible became reality.

Since installing micro-irrigation in mid-2025, the impact has been tangible:

• 8.8 tonnes of yellow maize harvested
• Abundant vegetables produced for children’s nutrition programmes
• 700 cacao trees planted toward a goal of 2,000 for future income sustainability
• Local staff trained and equipped to manage and maintain the irrigation system

All components of the project work in synergy—from secure storage facilities to farming equipment and growing staff capacity—ensuring good stewardship and long-term impact.

This farm is more than an agricultural project. It is a living classroom, a source of nourishment, and a powerful demonstration of God’s heart for restoration in the most challenging places.
