Pioneer Amanda le Roux
Managing Director
Amanda le Roux is the founder, visionary and no Managing Director of Restoring Hope Africa, Managing Director of Ariella Ministries and the Founder of Restoring Hope Foundation (Ltd), a non-governmental organisation based in Central Malawi. She is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, as well as a businesswoman, ordained pastor, and fivefold ministry leader.
She serves as an international speaker, magazine columnist, and a content creator and broadcaster on various Gospel radio and television platforms. Amanda is also the Co-founder of Arise Africa Continental Intercessors Network (ACIN) and Real Talk for Women with Amanda le Roux, a mentoring and discipleship platform for women.
Amanda writes and presents an online Prayer School and serves on several national leadership boards. She also provides leadership to provincial and continental prayer networks, equipping believers in intercession, spiritual warfare, and Kingdom leadership.
Her heart is deeply committed to Africa, with a strong passion to see the Gospel reach remote and unreached villages, particularly in Malawi. Her primary focus is on impoverished and orphaned children and their families, with a clear mission to bring transformation by establishing sustainable care centres in remote communities, restoring dignity, hope, and future generations.
Doctor JJ Scholtz
Director
Dr JJ Scholtz is a director and founding member of Restoring Hope Africa. He serves as the Senior Pastor and Administrator of Jaymet Ministries and is the owner of Profire. Dr Scholtz is also a DA Councillor in the Msukaligwa Municipality and serves as Vice Chairman of SAQCC Fire South Africa.
He completed his Doctoral studies in Theology in 2024 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Law.
Together, Dr JJ and his wife, Pastor Mettie Scholtz, flow strongly in the prophetic ministry and are deeply committed to spiritual warfare and deliverance. Their passion lies in teaching and equipping young minds in the ways of the Lord and in the leading and power of the Holy Spirit.
Celia Goosen
Director
She is a devoted daughter of God, a mother of three, and a grandmother of three, with a strong calling in prayer, prophecy, and women’s ministry. She is an author and content creator.
She serves as a founding member and director of Restoring Hope Africa, a founding member of Ariella Ministries, and as the administrator of our nutritious project for children in Standerton, one of Ariella Ministries’ outreach projects. In addition, she serves on the leadership team of Real Talk for Women, a mentoring platform for women founded by Amanda le Roux, Founder and Managing Director of Ariella Ministries.
Her passion is to see and experience the promised revival coming to her town and to her nation, standing in the gap through prayer, intercession, and the proclamation of God’s Word.
Jacobus Bisschoff
Director
Jacobus Bisschoff is a director of Restoring Hope Africa. He is an experienced agricultural professional and community leader with extensive expertise in livestock and crop farming across South Africa and Botswana. Raised on a farm in South Africa’s North West Province, he brings decades of hands-on agricultural experience and leadership.
He played a key role in establishing the pig farming sector in Botswana, serving as Chairperson of the Pig Producers Association of Botswana, contributing to the High-Level Consultative Council of the Minister of Agriculture, and leading curriculum development for the industry through the Botswana Training Authority (BOTA).
In South Africa, he served as Chairperson of the Kleinsee Community Policing Forum for nine years, demonstrating strong community leadership and integrity. A man of faith, Jacobus is known for principled leadership, a strong work ethic, and a deep commitment to stewardship and service.
Pastor Mettie Scholtz
Advisory Board Member
Pastor Mettie Scholtz has served as the Principal of Ark Christian School for the past 28 years. She is a qualified teacher and serves as Co-Pastor at Jaymet Ministries. She is a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She also serves as an advisor for Restoring Hope Africa and Ariella Ministries. She is an advisor to Pioneer Amanda le Roux and all the different school projects.
Together, Dr JJ and Pastor Mettie Scholtz flow strongly in the prophetic ministry and are deeply committed to spiritual warfare and deliverance. Their passion lies in teaching and equipping young minds in the ways of the Lord and in the leading and power of the Holy Spirit.
Barend le Roux
Advisory – Agriculture
Barend le Roux holds a strategic leadership role within Restoring Hope Africa, overseeing foundational agricultural training and the implementation of all agricultural projects across Africa.
An agricultural specialist with 17 years’ experience as a Production Manager in the agricultural chemical industry, he also brings over 30 years of experience as a business owner and part-time farmer. His expertise spans practical farming systems, project implementation, and sustainable agricultural development.
Together with Pioneer Amanda le Roux, Barend pioneers sustainable, community-based projects in Central Malawi, South Africa, and other regions as led, with a strong focus on empowerment, stewardship, and long-term impact.
Pastor Miscious Tsukani
RHF Malawi Director, Board Member and Human Resources
He is a Director of Restoring Hope Foundation (Ltd), Malawi, where he contributes his leadership, vision, and commitment to community transformation and to raise teen missionaries. He is responsible for human resources and serves as a personal advisor to Pioneer Amanda le Roux.
He is also the national leader and overseer of Teen Missions Malawi, leading more than 90 leaders.
Theresa Trumpelman
Theresa Trumpelmann is the chief prayer coordinator for Restoring Hope Africa. She is a business owner, currently focusing on projects in the hospitality industry and on creating additional income streams through a consumer-driven network and a personal development mentorship program.
She has a background in graphic design, where she worked both in the corporate sector and in her own business.
A few years ago, they started their journey with business projects to diversify their income and create financial options.
Her passion is to make a difference and add value to her family, friends, and those in her circle of influence.
Pastor Nasreen Khonat
Lady Nasreen is a devoted child of God, a lover of people, a wife, a mother of two beautiful children, and a businesswoman serving on several advisory boards. She is also an educator and the owner of Shining Stars International School in Lilongwe.
She firmly believes that education is the master key to unlocking a nation’s wealth and is deeply committed to raising and empowering the next generation through quality education.
Lady Nasreen is a passionate campaigner for women’s economic empowerment. She currently serves as a Board Member of the Malawi Window Association (MAWIA), the President of the Global Forum of Women Entrepreneurs (Malawi Chapter), and the Country Director of Timeless Women of Wonder (TWOW).
In addition, she is a founding member and Director of Restoring Hope Foundation (Ltd), Malawi, where she continues to contribute her leadership, vision, and commitment to community transformation.
Bishop Ellestner Pemba
An experienced Operations Manager and Chief Executive Officer with a proven track record of over 30 years in the manufacturing industry, specialising in rubber stamps and common seals.
Currently spearheading Universal Rubber Stamps & Common Seals, a respected family-owned business based in Blantyre, Malawi, renowned for its quality, precision, and craftsmanship. Highly skilled in strategic planning, operational efficiency, and team leadership, with a strong focus on delivering consistently high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
In addition to extensive industry experience, this leader has significant involvement in overseeing and coordinating church activities in Malawi and Mozambique, reflecting a deep commitment to community service, faith-based leadership, and organisational development.
This multifaceted background in both manufacturing and organisational leadership underscores the ability to drive sustainable growth, foster innovation, and build strong, cohesive teams.
